    In between training seasons, we want to take a few weeks to sharpen up our speed skills!


    Join us for a 4 week program, meeting in person on Run Club's usual days (Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings) where we focus on training for a shorter distance, work on speed drills, and do shorter, faster interval work!

    When:

    Tuesdays 6:00pm from May 12 - June 6

    Saturdays 7:30 am from May 12 - June 6

    Where:

    Check our event schedule, as locations may vary week to week.

    Even if you usually train for longer distances, fast interval workouts help marathon training by improving your aerobic capacity, running efficiency, and overall strength, making marathon pace feel easier over time.
    They also build resilience and mental toughness, which pays off in the later miles when fatigue sets in. While they're not the foundation of marathon training, adding regular intervals gives you a stronger engine and better form to carry through the full 26.2.
